Piroxicam is used to reduce pain, swelling, and joint stiffness from arthritis. Reducing these symptoms helps you do more of your normal daily activities. This medication is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body’s production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation. It is indicated for variety of acute painful conditions requiring anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity, including rheumatoid, osteo-arthritis (arthrosis degenerative joint disease), ankylosing spondylitis, musculoskeletal and joint disorder's, gout, in soft-tissue disorder's and in post-operative pain.
Composition
Each tablet contains:
- Piroxicam beta cyclodextrin: 20 mg
