Anex-M is a combination medication containing two active ingredients: Sumatriptan and Naproxen sodium. Sumatriptan is a serotonin receptor agonist, commonly known as a triptan, which works by narrowing blood vessels in the brain and reducing substances in the body that can trigger headache pain, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and other migraine symptoms. Naproxen sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps reduce inflammation, pain, and fever by inhibiting the production of certain chemicals in the body.
- Acute treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura
- Reduces migraine pain, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and other migraine-related symptoms.
Composition
Each film coated tablet contains:
- Sumatriptan: 85 mg
- Naproxen Sodium: 500 mg
