Traditionally used for the treatment of complaints caused by inflammations of the pharynx such as acute and chronic tonsillitis.
Composition
Each tablet contains:
- Atropinum Sulfuricum: 5X 12.5 mg
- Hepar Sulfuris: 3X 10 mg
- Kalium Bichromicum: 4X 50 mg
- Silicea: 2X 5 mg
- Mercurius Bijodatus: 8X 25 mg
- Excipients Q.S. to 250 mg
Indications
- Traditionally used for the treatment of complaints caused by inflammations of the pharynx such as acute and chronic tonsillitis.
Dosage
- Adults: Unless otherwise prescribed, in acute conditions adults should take 1 to 2 tablets three times a day. For the treatment of chronic complaints adults should take 1 tablet one to three times a day.
- Children: Unless otherwise prescribed, children should not take more than 1 tablet three times a day.
- Take the Tonsiotren® tablets half an hour before or after meals, and preferably allow them to dissolve slowly in the mouth. As soon as an improvement is felt, reduce frequency of use.
