Paracetamol, the active ingredient in the 250mg syrup/suspension, works primarily by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins in the central nervous system (CNS). It selectively blocks cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, particularly COX-2, in the brain and spinal cord. This action reduces the production of prostaglandin E2, which is involved in the generation and maintenance of pain signals and the regulation of body temperature.

- Used for relieving mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches, earaches, and post-vaccination pain.
