Orsiflor-Z, a combination of saccharomyces boulardii, low osmolarity ORS and zinc in sachet form, is for infants and adults.
Saccharomyces boulardii is a biotherap eutic agent which acts in the intestine in living state. It is a unique yeast probiotic. Probiotics are live microorganisms which when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit on the host.
Zinc is proved to have significant and beneficial impact on diarrhoea, reducing both its duration and severity.
Low osmolarity O.R.S, recommended by WHO for the fluid restoration in diarrhoea to prevent dehydration and electrolyte loss. Combination of
Saccharomyces boulardii, Zinc and O.R.S, not only boost immunity and balance the flora in the host gastrointestinal tract, but also will treat and prevent diarrhoea along with beneficial effect of fluid restoration in diarrhoea.

Indications
- Orsiflor-z is indicated for all kinds of diarrhoea e.g acute diarrhoea, traveler's diarrhoea, persistent diarrhoea, chronic diarrhoea, recurrent diarrhoea etc.
- Treatment & prevention of digestive complications of antibiotic therapy.
- Fluid restoration & prevention of dehydration & electrolyte loss.
Suggested Usage
- Infants below 6 months: 1 sachet daily.
- From 6 months to 12 yrs: 2 sachets daily.
- Adults: 2-3 sachet daily, or as prescribed by the healthcare practitioner.
Directions for Use
- Pour the contents (powder) of one sachet in 250 ml glass of cool boiled water. Stir with spoon until contents are completely dissolved in the water.
- After the contents of the sachet are mixed in 250 ml of water, it can be used at room
temperature for 2.5-3.5 hours.
