Glucovance is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type II diabetes mellitus. It is often combined with other medicines to improve efficacy and bring about the desired results. Glibenclamide is mostly available in oral form combined with other antidiabetic medicines. It is not indicated for diabetes type 1.
Composition
Each film coated tablet contains:
- Metformin Hydrochloride: 500 mg
- Glibenclamide: 2.5 mg
