Hepa-Merz is a research of Merz Pharma Germany. Hepa-Merz is a stable combination of two important endogenous amino acids, Ornithine and Aspartate which are important substrates in the metabolic conversion of ammonia to urea and glutamine respectively. LOLA helps in ammonia detoxification. This process lowers the elevated level of ammonia in blood which is a common problem in most of the liver diseases. It also helps in citric acid cycle which liberates energy (ATP), and thus helps in regeneration of damaged liver cells.
- Acute Hepatitis (viral, non-viral, drug induced)
- Chronic hepatitis (with or without hyperammonaemia)
- Cirrhosis of liver
- Fatty liver with hyperammonaemia
- Hepatic encephalopathy
- As an adjuvant therapy with all hepatotoxic drugs
Composition
Each 5ml contains:
- L-Ornithine L-Aspartate: 300.0 mg
- Nicotinamide: 24.0 mg
- Riboflavin: 0.76 mg
