It is an antidiabetic drug. It is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control useful for reducing and maintaining blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes when treatment with both sitagliptin and metformin extended-release is appropriate.
Composition
Each extended release tablet contains:
- Sitagliptin: 100 mg
- Metformin HCL: 1000 mg
