This medication is used as an adjunct with diet changes and exercise in treating primary hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol level in the blood) or mixed (elevations in Low Density Lipoprotein cholesterol and triglyceride levels, often accompanied by low levels of HDL cholesterol).
It is also used in treating homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (disorder characterized by abnormal levels of LDL cholesterol).
Composition
Each film-coated tablet contains:
- Rosuvastatin: 20 mg
